We provide stable housing focused on transitional age youth (18-25 years old), former foster youth entering adulthood, and families with young children. We understand the challenges that come with finding safe and affordable housing, and we strive to provide a supportive environment with accountability for tenants, while also making allowances for individual backgrounds and situations.

Building a Stronger Community, One Family at a Time
Charis Youth Center, Inc., a well established educational and residential treatment provider for adolescent youth, has undergone a significant transition to focus on local needs for housing and serving families and their young children in the greater Nevada County area.
Charis Properties, launched in June 2022, provides housing options to young adults and families who are experiencing housing insecurity in Nevada County.
